The research paper about AtlantikSolar’s flight endurance world record in the less-than-50kg aircraft class is finally available! It was published by the Journal of Field Robotics (JFR) and contains a wealth of background information about AtlantikSolar’s conceptual design, detailed design, flight testing including all details on the 81-hour flight and an outlook into what actual missions are currently feasible with solar-powered perpetual-flight capable UAVs.
